The 450 seat Rollins Center for the Performing Arts houses a variety of shows, concerts, assemblies, and special events throughout the year.

Productions

The plays and musicals performed at the Academy are hand-picked to accommodate our students and offer as many male roles as possible. They are also age-appropriate and provide the boys opportunities to work with girls, faculty, staff, parents, administration, and other members of the SEA community who participate in the productions as well.

At the beginning of the school year, students may audition for the Fall Play to be performed in November. Plays in the past include: Robinhood, Prince of Thieves; Treasure Island; and 12 Angry Men. After Christmas break the new year brings auditions for the Spring Musical. Past musicals include: Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat; The Wizard of Oz; Bye Bye Birdie; and Oliver.
