Dear SEA Families, 
Today at 2:11am, my cell phone rang. I jumped straight out of bed! When I saw the DC area code, my heart sank. (As many of you know my son Drew attends American University in Washington, DC.) I looked at my husband with eyes wide open, took a deep breath, and braced myself for whoever was on the other line. TWO WEEKS UNTIL SEA FAMILY NIGHT
Join us on Saturday, February 3rd from 5-9pm for a Mass in the Chapel and then pizza dinner followed by Bunco which is an 'all-ages' dice game. Coordinated by the SEA Parents' Association, Bunco is a very long-standing  tradition at SEA! Tickets will be sold at the door $5/child and $10/adult. We need your help before, during, and after the event as well.  This is a great opportunity for service hours for the 7th & 8th Grades boys as well! SPRING SPORTS REGISTRATION OPEN

Registration for spring sports is now live. Rugby (Gr 3-8), Baseball (Gr 7 & 8 Only), Junior Lacrosse (Gr K-3), Lacrosse (Gr 3-8)
Instructional Track (Gr 1&2), Track (Gr 3-8). All players submitting online sports permission forms on or before the due date WILL have a spot on a team. However, if the permission form is not submitted in time, those players take a chance of not being able to play. Each team will only carry an efficient number of players. Therefore late submissions could be declined. Click here to read for more information on each offering or to get started with signups.

BOX TOP HOMEROOM CONTEST
Our 2nd Box Tops Blitz will begin THIS Monday, 1/22 and run through Friday, 1/26. Please send Box Tops in an envelope labeled with your son's name and homeroom. The winning homeroom will select either a free tag day or a hot chocolate social. The student who collects the most Box Tops will receive a gift card to Barnes & Noble. Let the Blitz begin!
SEA TO SING AT 'MEN ONLY ALOUD'
Saint Edmond's Academy will be represented by Jack Maister, Joseph Mancuso, Colin Arcari, Parker Lehmann, Michael Ciampoli, John Lovett and Ryan Spartin at a choral event--Men Only Aloud sponsored by the American Choral Directors Association (ACDA). The event will be held from 8:30am until 7pm, (which includes a presentation), on Thursday, January 25th. Best wishes to our amazing singers!
BEAUTY & THE BEAST, JR. UPDATES
We have begun our fantastic journey together--cast and families working in community! Thank you to all parents who have their paperwork in and have volunteered for their committees. We will begin working on costume construction on Sunday (Moms, you will get an email if we need your skills this week.) and start set building on Saturday, 2/3 10am-2pm (Building committee personnel, but any parent/grandparent in the school is welcome to join in.) You do not need to stay the whole time at work calls for set building. We appreciate everyone's contribution to making this show so special.

PLEASE NOTE: REHEARSAL TIME CHANGE because of the Eagles game. We now rehearse 2:30-5:30pm

SNAPSHOT OF SAINT EDMOND'S
We are proud to release a new video showcasing our SEA student and community experience called Snapshot of Saint Edmond's. We are grateful and fortunate to have had access to the expertise of NBC10's Tim Furlong (Liam '17), and we feel the video came out great. Please join us in sharing it on social media, within friendly circles-- anywhere you feel appropriate really!  
Also a nice piece to share is our digital viewbook which outlines the SEA experience a bit more broadly.
Lastly, our next Open House is Tuesday, January 30. We are offering two sessions, 9-11 am and 6-8 pm. Those prospective families interested in attending may register online or contact Mr. Duncan directly to arrange a personal tour. 
48th ANNUAL SEA BASKETBALL CAMP
We are offering up to four weeks of 2018 SEA Basketball Camp!
This year's camp is for
BOYS and GIRLS entering Grades 1 & 2 in the Fall
(This Group will be co-ed full day camp (8:30am-3pm)

RIPPIN' ROPE LACROSSE CAMP AT SEA
Rippin' Rope Lacrosse Camp directed by Mr. Pete Duncan (also head boy's lacrosse coach at Archmere Academy), is returning in summer 2018!
