GET INVOLVED SCHOOL CALENDAR GIVE
FROM THE DESK OF THE PRINCIPAL
Dear SEA Families,
I don't know about you, but I am beyond excited for the Super Bowl! Back in the 90s, I taught 2nd and 3rd grade. During this time I also shared Eagles season tickets with one of my best friends from high school. We were avid Eagles fans. After every game, my students entered the room telling me the score of the Eagles game. If the Eagles won, they had a night of no homework. If they lost, well eh class had to be on their best behavior to avoid extra work! Had I been teaching this year, my students would have been super happy with the homework load!!! My students were used to me being an Eagles nut! To this day, I cannot watch the Eagles play without pacing, hiding my eyes at critical moments, or praying (like this is when God wants to hear from me). So this weekend is extra sweet for me (and for my 'just as crazy' family). So let's get behind our Birds and cheer on our underdogs. Fly Eagles fly…on the road to victory!

Today, we also release Progress Reports. I hope you and your son take the time to review what the teacher sees on a day to day basis. It is important to know ourselves as learners. Remember, teachers have only your son's best interest at heart. They do their best every day to support and challenge your son(s). In the words of Dan Rather, "The dream begins, most of the time, with a teacher who believes in you, who tugs and pushes and leads you on to the next plateau, sometimes poking you with a sharp stick called truth." If there are concerns, please set up a conference. We know it takes a team, to help our boys be the best they can be.

Please don’t forget that tomorrow is SEA Family Bunco Night. It is such a fun night and a great excuse to put down the electronics and just enjoy family time.

Have an amazing weekend and Go EaglesTricia
