GET INVOLVED SCHOOL CALENDAR GIVE
FROM THE DESK OF THE PRINCIPAL
Dear SEA Families,
This has been an amazingly hectic week! I am still smiling over the big SuperBowl win. Fly Eagles Fly!
Next week we have quite a schedule, ending with Parent-Teacher Conferences Thursday night. Please, review your son’s progress report and sign up for a conference (we will send out an email next week) if needed. This is about the time the boys start to fade. We need to keep them engaged, focused and committed to learning.

As much as we need our children remain devoted to their learning, we need to also devote time to ourselves. In the words of Blessed Basil Moreau, “Continue, my dear friend, to devote yourself to developing the interior life; without this, we are simply wasting our time.” I don’t know about you, but these past few months have been quite stressful. I am not sure why, but I think part of it has to do with my teenage children! The one thing I have noticed is that I have put myself on the back burner. And to be honest, it doesn’t make me a better principal, a better parent, a better spouse, a better sibling, or a better friend. I need to find time to re-center, for my sake and my families. So to all my stressed parents out there, who do it all for your children and others, we need to make sure we take time for our “interior life.” We must take time to find the quiet, to exercise, to pray, and to do the things we enjoy. It will strengthen our relationship with God, with our interior self and with our families.
Have a great weekend!   Tricia
