GET INVOLVED SCHOOL CALENDAR GIVE
FROM THE PRINCIPAL -MAY 18th 2018

Dear Academy Families,
There are just 11 school days left! …Yes—11! As we wind down the school year, there are so many challenges. As a parent, I feel like all do is drive my car around town from soccer games to prom fittings and school events. The boys feel the same way. The end of the school year can often make a child feel anxious. We do our very best to keep the boys focused.  We keep teaching, keep preparing for tests and final exams. Yet, students are getting tired, wanting to be home and are even getting on each other’s nerves. The month of May requires ‘a village’ and for that reason, we are going to ask for two favors:    [Finish here.]

THIS TUESDAY--JOIN US AT THE MALL

This Tuesday the SEA Library will sponsor a Barnes & Noble 'Summer Reading' Book Fair. You may shop throughout the day at the Concord Pike location. SEA Librarian Mrs. Hartman will be in the store from 5:30-8pm.
A school 'Wish List' table and our summer reading books will also be available. Please support this wonderful reading event. Shop for summer reading materials (among other things) for the whole family!

Also, on Tuesday evening (5/22), we will host a Grub Burger School Spirit Night. Skip cooking dinner and enjoy a meal with the SEA community at Grub! A portion of all sales will be donated back to the school. Flyers for both events can be found at this link.

SEA ACADEMY SINGERS AT ARCHMERE

SEA Academy Singers join with the Mastersingers of Archmere at 7pm tonight (Friday, 5/18) to honor Leonard Berstein's 100th birthday by singing 'Sanctus' from his acclaimed 'Mass'. This exciting concert appearance takes place at Archmere Academy in  the Performing Arts Center. CORRECTION: Our apologies to Luke Middleton who was not recognized in the Evening of the Arts program for his participation with the Archmere Mastersingers. Good luck to our amazing singers! We know you will make us proud!

FROM THE SEA LIBRARIAN
A very special 'thank you' to
Mrs. Janice Lehmann (Connor '16 and Parker '18) for her many years of service to the Thomas P. Sweeney Library and SEA Box Tops Program. As our volunteer coordinator, she has significantly increased awareness and participation in the Box Tops program which has allowed us to purchase many resources the boys use everyday. With Parker graduating this spring, Mrs. Lehmann would like to transition before the school year is over so we can start 2018-2019 off right! If you are interested in taking on this role, please contact Tammy Hayes-Hartman.
