GET INVOLVED SCHOOL CALENDAR GIVE
FROM THE PRINCIPAL -MAY 24th 2018

Dear Academy Families,
Ah -the joys of May! I don’t know about you but anymore I don’t know if I am coming or going...final exams, graduation parties, proms (thank goodness that has ended), soccer playoffs, the many 50th birthday parties (when will they end?) and the seemingly endless rain. Field day was a joy for us all yesterday! We were all able to take a breather from the classroom and watch the boys enjoy each other.

The countdown is on.  Each middle and upper form class I walk into is in 'review mode' but the boys still need to study at home each night.  This week during Morning Meeting, one boy asked, “What really is time management?” I told him that there is no secret to time management. It is just a fancy phrase for sacrificing. To find time to study, something has to give. When we have free time, we have to manage it with studying. I don’t think it is what the boys want to hear, but it really is the truth. In two weeks, this will all be over. Hang in there and let us know how we can help you reach the finish line!
Attention-8th grade parents: The boys have 5 final exams, a presentation and a graduation practice. All Service forms must be turned in by 5/31. Boys must arrive in a jacket and tie by 8:30am.
Every time I say it, it feels so bittersweet. We will miss this class! They have truly developed into mature young men. Have a great long weekend!  Tricia
