FROM THE DESK OF THE PRINCIPAL
Dear SEA Families,
I often read articles to help me as a parent and a principal. Both as a mom and as a principal, I have been called mean--especially when I say 'no'. We’ve all been there! But I love the takeaway from the article, Why Kids Need Mean Moms   (and feel free to swap in the word ‘Dad’ throughout this article!)...  [Click here to finish.]

Questions to Mr. Cincotta!
Please do not select Wednesday, October 24th for any of your son's high school 'shadow days'. It's important not to miss Portrait Day (Wed., 10/24).

WE NEED TO HEAR FROM YOU
Please remember to use the  attendance@stedmondsacademy.org address when your son will be absent, late or leaving early. Although it feels natural to email the teachers, it's not our policy. Teachers are usually unable to check email in time for the attendance report, and your son ends up with an unexcused. At SEA, 'Unexcused' just means that we haven't heard from you on his behalf. All absences are excused when communicated to the Main Office.
SIGN UP FOR THE LANCER DASH

PERFORMING ARTS NOTES

THE ENVELOPE PLEASE...
After much consideration and many scripts read, the winner for the 2019 Spring Musical is Peter Pan, Jr. While Peter Pan was produced here eight years ago, this is a different version with an alternate script and music including four famous Broadway tunes. We are already excited about the many production possibilities, and for the Pirates, Lost Boys, Hook and Pan

NEW SINGERS

Members of our choirs and six alumni are singing the National Anthem at the Phillies game this Sunday,September 16th. Thank you to those who are going to be there to support us. New singers are welcome to audition for Academy Singers or register for Academy Chorus or Men's Ensemble without an audition. New singers may have missed the Phillies, but we are looking at singing the Anthem for the new Blue Jackets basketball team (affiliated with the 76ers) later in the school year.  Select an ensemble on your enrichment forms (distributed today at dismissal).
