FROM THE DESK OF THE PRINCIPAL
Dear Academy Families,
Today was Grandparents' and Special Friends’ Day.  As I watched the students interact with their grandparents and special guests, I was reminded of the words of Blessed Basil Moreau who said, “Students are the parents of future generations, each one bears a family within.”  Watching all the interactions in the classrooms and hallways today was such a heart-warming experience.  Grandchildren are blessed to have their grandparents or special family friends and honoring them on a day like this is so important. Reflecting upon her job as a grandmother, my own mother always says, “My job is to be present and love them unconditionally; Your job as a parent is different.”  I recently read a blog where the author opines that being a parent is a hard job.. [Click here for more.]
