FROM S.E.A STUDENT COUNCIL

October is breast cancer awareness month. Students. Faculty and Staff at Saint Edmond’s Academy will show our support by wearing sweatbands featuring the breast cancer logo. The sweatbands will be $5, and students who purchase one may participate in a 'free' Tag day on Monday 11/7.  Students who do not purchase a sweatband, but still want to participate in the tag day, may do so by donating $2.00.  For the tag day, students must wear some pink- even if it is just the sweatband.  All money raised will be donated to a local breast cancer support group. Sweatband orders will be taken in homeroom from THIS Monday, 10/24-Friday, 10/28.

SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES OPEN

We are happy to once again host the 47th Annual Thanksgiving basketball tournament known as The Brother Ralph Edmiston Classic. This week-long tournament brings together schools in the spirit of friendship to challenge each other for the championship title. Brother Ralph served as SEA’s athletic director for 15 years. He had a passion for all sports and received accolades on the court and in the classroom. But Brother Ralph’s crowning achievement was the example that he set for others. He led by example. We are proud to host this tournament in his name each year. We hope that you will join us as a sponsor by placing an ad in the event program book. The tournament begins on Friday, 11/25 with the championship game held on Saturday, 12/3. Proceeds from the tournament including program book ads, benefit our boys. Please click here for more info and to reserve your advertising spot now.
