FROM THE DESK OF THE PRINCIPAL
Dear SEA Families,
Saint Brother Andre recommends that we ‘be’ saints, but how do we set out to live a saintly life? For Saint Brother Andre it was simple. To be a saint, we just need to believe, pray, serve and trust. He asks us to believe that God is always at our side and would never forget us. He encourages us to remain faithful even through our sadness. Saint Andre asks us to pray. We remind the boys that prayer is a way to talk to God who always wants to hear from us. Thirdly, we must serve. Brother Andre was known to say, “We cannot love God without loving our neighbor.” Service shows our care, compassion, and concern for others. Finally trust can often be the toughest in our calling to ‘be’ saints. When we experience challenge, hurt, sadness or genuine... [Keep reading by clicking here.]

TAG DAY FUNDS GO TO TWO FAMILIES

Megan Andrews, one of our former LF teachers, relocated to Houston and has been teaching there for the past three years. Megan’s school survived the hurricanes, but many neighboring schools and families were devastated. We reached out to a few principals in Houston, but they asked us to first help the TX families in need. With your help, our Tag Day in September raised $1000 for them. Megan's school put us in touch with the Deverman and Halston families, and we were able to send each a $500 VISA Gift Card. Above is photo of the two moms (in tearsl) holding SEA's generous gifts. We are blessed here at the Academy, and we are so grateful for the generosity of our students and their families.

HELP OUT SEA ADMISSIONS
Some of the most effective marketing of SEA takes place when our current families 'like', 'share', 'retweet', and 'comment' on SEA social media posts and events with which they connect. As we enter our busy Admissions season, we appreciate any social media savvy folks to help us get the word out about the special things happening at SEA.  If any current parents could take the time to complete this brief, 3-question survey for us, we would appreciate it!  Spread the word about our important admissions dates:  Open House THIS Tuesday (9-11am) & Admission Testing for Current Year Transfers or Fall 2018 on Saturday, 11/18 at 9am
