Dear SEA Families, 
Every week I have the honor of reading two newsletters from two different high schools. A few weeks ago, Cindy Mann, Principal of Padua Academy, wrote this prayer to end her newsletter. PLEASE JOIN US HERE THIS SUNDAY AM
Please join us for a morning of prayer, reflection and remembrance at the annual Alumni Memorial Mass this Sunday (11/11) in the Rollins Center beginning at 10:30am.  All are welcome to attend this beautiful tribute to those who have gone before us in Christ. We are happy to welcome home several alumni singers and Brother Tom Meany as well.  
 STUDENT COUNCIL -BIG MONTH!
WJBR/Ministry of Caring FOOD DRIVE is all next week.  From Monday 11/12 through Friday 11/16 
Students will bring food to their homerooms. All items are valued at 1 point except Canned Gravy, Boxed mashed potatoes, Canned Vegetables. Those three items are given two points each. We are not collecting turkeys or anything in a glass container. If we earn 600+ points, we will have a free Tag Day. At the conclusion of our Drive, we’ll announce the top homeroom in each form. Those three homerooms are all awarded a homework pass to be used in one class, on one assignment. The top overall donating homeroom wins a pizza party hosted by the teacher of their choice.
CLASS OF 2019 vs. STAFF FLAG FOOTBALL GAME
K-7 students can purchase raffle tickets (in homeroom) to help decide what faculty members will play. Eighth Grade students can purchase tickets for a chance to play in the gridiron classic. Students in grades JK-3 will select Lower Form Teachers to play and students in grades 4-7 will pick middle and upper form teachers. Raffle tickets will be $1.00 per ticket or $5.00 for 10. The game is Monday 11/26 at 12:08. Proceeds go to the Ministry of Caring for turkeys.
PATRIOTIC TAG DAY'  -Pay $3 or donate 5 food items on Monday for our Red, White & Blue Tag Day.

On Saturday, December 1st from 5-8pm, SEA Parents' Association invites you to wear your pajamas and delight in a magical evening with Santa & Mrs. Claus. $5 per person. GRADE FOUR IHM PARISHIONERS
Are you an IHM parishioner? Has your son expressed a desire to become an altar server? Fr. Robert Wozniak hopes that you will support him/her in this decision. Serving Mass is a wonderful way for your child to grow in love for the Lord as well as performing an important service for his Parish. Please email Grace for further info or call 302 764-1143. 
SEA PERFORMING ARTS NEWS
SEA TALENT SHOW- Tonight's the night. Show starts at 6:30 PM with some pretty amazing acts with students represented from grade 2 and up. Please join us for this much anticipated event.  Stage Crew should reports at 6pm. The Talent reports at 6:15pm.
ALL STATE REHEARSAL- Tomorrow from 3-3:40pm.
Come prepare formally for this challenging audition which is next Saturday, November 17th in Smyrna. ALUMNI MEMORIAL MASS SINGERS-Those singers from Academy Singers and Men's Ensemble who will be participating in the Memorial Mass on Sunday, Please take your blazers home on Friday. Report time is 10:10 for warm up and song review. Families are welcome to worship with us.

FUNDRAISERS and SERVICE UPDATES
Thanks for participating in the Box Tops Blitz. Our collection raised $238! Our individual winner was Antonio Thompson 6-2)  who collected close to 800 Box Tops! Please continue to collect Box Tops throughout the year. Next Blitz will be in April.
Scholastic Book Fair - another fun reading event. Close to $4,000 in books and merchandise were sold in just one week! Mark your calendar, a second Scholastic Book Fair will take place in April. 
SEA Barnes & Noble + Chick-fil-A Fundraisers 
will take place at the Concord Mall locations on Wednesday, November 28th. What a great way to do a little Christmas shopping without cooking dinner that evening! Here's our event flier.
Upcoming Student Service Opportunities
•On Monday, November 19th we have been invited to help with the WJBR Turkeython.
•Mr. Holsten is also looking for volunteers to help with the Basketball Thanksgiving tournament. More info will be e-mailed to boys in grades 7/8 who are required to do their service hours before May 2019.
