FROM THE DESK OF THE PRINCIPAL
Dear SEA Families,
May you never be too grown up to search the skies on Christmas Eve
."
I was shopping the other day for Christmas cards and wrote that line down…it is so true. Who doesn’t love the night before Christmas? I have so many vivid memories filled with Christmas Eve moments throughout my life--memories filled with lots and lots of family, laughter, food, seven fish dishes, and oh yeah, gifts. As most of you know, I am from a long line of Italians. Growing up my grandmother’s Christmas tree was, at times, white with red decorations, full of gold or silver garland and oversized ornaments! SEA LANCER LUNCHROOM

BASEBALL TRAVEL TEAM
Training and practice have a meaningful impact on the development of a player. Games are great and we all enjoy them.  However, there are not enough repetitions in games to develop the player to be a
better player and an athlete that can play at the next level. Practice time is when improvement occurs. Click here for our philosophy. Click here for our schedule and here to sign up.
ST. ED'S PERFORMING ARTS NEWS
CONGRATULATIONS!
Kudos to our 25 select Academy Singers for an excellent performance at The Queen this past Sunday. Our singers were part of a hand picked line up of choirs and dancers from area schools to be the entertainment at the fundraiser for the Anthony Penna Charitable Fund. You did us proud!
SATURDAY AT THE DELAWARE ART MUSEUM
Many of our singers from Academy Chorus, Academy Singers, and Men's Ensemble will join voices this Saturday at the Delaware Art Museum on Lovering Avenue to perform as part of their Winter Festival. Report time is between 9:15 and 9:30 for a 9:45 performance. Bring your blazers and music home with you at dismissal tomorrow! (Winter uniform and dress shoes is the attire for the event.) Come and hear us sing in the holidays!
FINAL REHEARSAL -NEXT FRIDAY, 12/14 (3-4pm)!
All singers need to attend the final rehearsal to put the choral portion of the Christmas concert together in preparation for our big night, December 17th. Thank you to parents who have volunteered to help supervise. NO MUSIC AT THIS REHEARSAL. (Take home music this coming week to practice that you have your pieces memorized.)

SHOP ON AMAZON AND SEA GETS PAID

If you're a regular Amazon shopper, then you know about Amazon Smile.  Sometimes our mobile devices don't default to it, so take a close look and be sure to select SEA as your Amazon Smile beneficiary. It's such an easy way to help SEA collect a few extra dollars. Like many of our smaller fundraisers, this really does add it.
