Get Involved School Calendar Give
FROM THE DESK OF THE HEADMASTER
Dear SEA Families,
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas, everywhere you go” These lyrics always signify to me that we are heading into the Christmas Season.  It reminds me of the many Christmas traditions I had growing up.  From visiting my grandparents to the anticipation on Christmas Eve, it was always such a family centered and special time of year.  I am sure each of you has that song or memory that helps to get you into the holiday spirit. In my short time at S.E.A...  [Click here to read more.]
FROM THE DESK OF THE PRINCIPAL
Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays & Happy New Year! I love this time of year. I love the music, the decorations, the food, and I love the excitement on the boys’ faces. I am starting to feel the panic in my stomach, though, since I have not even started shopping yet. I need keep reminding myself about the true beauty of the season, about spending precious moments with family, and honoring traditions. For my family, it is all about Christmas Eve when 70 of us...  [Click here to finish.]

JAZZ BAND LOVE PARK PERFORMANCE

Our Jazz Band was invited to perform at the Love Park Christmas Village Make-A-Wish event TOMORROW
(Saturday) 12/17 from 3-4pm.  Please visit the
Christmas Caroling for Kids page to make a donation. We hope you can help us spread this message of love, hope and recovery to a much larger audience this year so that collectively we can raise more money, help more children and do more good. All stores surrounding Love Park will be open for business, and a portion of their proceeds that day will go directly to the 'Make a Wish' Foundation. Come out and see our musicians, do some Christmas shopping and help make some very important wishes for sick children come true.

FOUR PIES TO THE FACE, THANKS
The boys set a goal of raising $650 this year ($50 more than last year!). They were thrilled to find they raised double that amount this year--$1,384. You could imagine their delight, however, when a mysterious $3,000 donation arrived in Dr. Scott's hands which brought our grand total  to $4,384. We are so happy!  Another cool note: We were also able to donate more than 75 pretzels that were left over from our fundraiser to the Sunday Breakfast Mission.  Pie To Face Goal? MET. Gunnar Jacobson opted to honor Dr. Scott with his pie in the face.  Mr. Ray was selected by Marcus Lewis to receive one and Mr. Holsten received two pies in his face--one courtesy of Michael Acierno and another courtesy of Nicholas Spartz. The boys lucky enough to do the 'selecting' were chosen because they were the winners of the Ugly Sweater portion of the fundraiser.
