Saint Edmond’s Academy - Spring Athletic Information

Dear Parents and Students,
As we approach the start of the spring sports seasons, we would like to make sure that everyone understands the options they have for participation in our four sports (Baseball, Track, Rugby and Lacrosse). All 3rd-8th grade students involved with a SEA Sport must be registered with CYM and complete the Parent/Player Concussion Form in order to attend these Evaluations. The Parent/Player Concussion form is now apart of the CYM Registration, making it a requirement for ALL SEA Athletes to be registered with CYM. If you have not registered THIS YEAR, it is a three-step online process.  If you registered for a 2018 Fall or Winter Sport, sign in, PRINT a summary of your son’s registration information, and SUBMIT that to the coaching staff at evaluations or the first practice.

Baseball: For 6th, 7th and 8th Graders Only

Any boy playing on a spring sports team must be at all required games/meets, and all required practices. Priority must be given to the players’ Saint Edmond’s Academy team and not to any other outside sports team. If you decide to tryout for baseball, you must commit to the team you are placed on for the season.

All players submitting on-line sports permission forms on or before the due date WILL have a spot on a team. However, if the permission form is not submitted in time those players take a chance of not being able to play. Each team will carry an efficient number of players. Teams cannot be added with out having the number of players necessary for a full squad and therefore past due submissions could be declined. This decision is left to the discretion of the Saint Edmond’s Academy Athletic Department. All sports fees must be paid before the start of evaluations (for those sports holding evaluations) or practices, by either credit card online or check in person.
